Thanks for that Lisa and Steven, wonderful to listen to about the Originals. I feel close to Australia within my heart. Please do gather more info about our ancestors, I’m waiting…until then.

This was a fascinating talk. The fact that the elders, even as at August 2012, are only beginning to share information indicates that maybe what they have to share requires us to shift even more towards their wavelength.

One thing I notice coming up more and more is this issue of sovereignty and legal authority. I was very interested to learn that the British used an argument based on English land law to take over Australia, as opposed to outright conquest. Presumably, instead of a conquering army, you had a group of newly created landowners evicting trespassers. I understand this concept well. If no-one is deemed to be in possession of a piece of land, then the one who establishes possession is treated as the owner. On top of that you might have the concept of ‘waste land’ which is basically uncultivated land or common land. If not possessed by another, it is deemed to vest in the ‘lord of the manor’ – whoever he might be. This all dovetails with the law of England and Wales at the time that only men of property had a right to elect a parliament and by extension could authorise that body to create new laws and change the common law. No-one else had a vote. Looked at in this way, the British elite used the same laws on the Australians as their predecessors (the Anglo-Saxons and Normans) used on the indigenous English and Welsh populations by stealth.

Is it possible that the growth of Marxism/ Communism was an initiative of the elites to control and direct what they knew would return to the collective consciousness – the concept of land ownership in common? And by so doing they corrupted it into the corporate/state ownership nightmares we see today – aimed to frighten us away from that form of thinking?

The section on the experience of the man who was taught how to turn himself into a kangaroo reminded me about an insight I had about the Harry Potter books. I was told that the Harry Potter story was not fiction, but fact. It had been downloaded to JK Rowling complete, and I have read that JK has stated this is so herself; that it came to her all in one go. And it is a complicated story when you look at it closely. When I asked whether the story had been altered to make it more ’saleable’ I was told no, it is ’spot on.’ If true, my own sense of this is that the events are not that old – but also that they might not have taken place strictly within our present reality.
